So you skipped a day?

We all know what it's like. You are trying your hardest to keep on track, to do you best and be the healthiest version of you you can be. But then you have a slip up. Hey! Don't worry. It happens to the best of us. I realised yesterday I only had 2 of my 5 a day! So what? Guess what? I'm still alive!

But I felt guilty! Here I was telling all you lovely souls to eat 5 and I wasn't even doing it myself. It is how you deal with these situations that matters. Today is a new day and I'll try and eat my five. And if I don't? I'll try harder tomorrow. Please don't give up guys. You can do this. Trust me. I've done it.

I went to a fitness class this morning, making use of my next 3 weeks before I start work, then hit the shops and restocked with lots of veggies.

The class I went to is called Fitball and is based on the Swiss Ball. I thought 'OK Jeanie, you have danced and done yoga for years, you have good balance and core strength'. Boy was I wrong! It just shows even if you think you are fit you need to CONSTANTLY vary what exercise you do. To keep your body on it's toes and get the best from your workouts! Just a little side note. I can tell I'll struggle walking tomorrow. Is it weird I love that feeling?
